Christmas Fun Day
Hosted at David Roche Park, Cromwell Road, Kilburn
on 10th December 2017 at 3.00 pm
The committee was very excited to host our first Christmas Members Competition.
The trainee judges for this fun competition were Kylie Tilly and Lois Richter. Kylie and Lois judged the classes and awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards. The classes included:
Class 1 (3mths-9 months)
Class 2 (9mths-18 months)
Class 3 (18mths -3 years)
Class 4 (3-6 years)
Class 5 (6 years and over)
SPECIAL CLASSES: Child Handlers
Christmas fancy dress
Best groomed coat
Waggiest Tail
All classes are for pet papillons or training puppies, and champion papillons are only eligible to enter the special classes. The entry fee was $2 per dog per class, and you could enter as many of the classes as you wish.
There were lots of prizes to win, and a raffle was drawn at the end of the event with many happy winners.
A plate of afternoon tea was provided to share with friends. Cold drinks were also available to purchase.
It was a successful event for the end of 2017, and we hope it brings many more papillon enthusiasts next time!
